Getting Started

Welcome to SWG Utopia! The first thing to remember is that our launcher is a very simplistic version, with two functions, Patching and Updating, and is currently in the process of being updated. You can follow the checklist below that will allow you to patch our client. Have fun!

• After downloading the compressed file, ‘Utopia_Client.rar.’ Be advised, this will be a big file, which will give you the base game.

• Unzip the files into the directory/folder of your choice. This may also take a few minutes because of the size of some of the files.

• Once you have the unzip finished, run your launcher, ‘Utopia_Launcher.exe’

• The Launcher itself takes a few minutes to check for a launcher update and to process changes from the Patch Server, once it is ready, it will begin patching automatically.

• While your client is patching, take this time to register a new account on the forums, which will be required in order to log in to our servers.

• Once patching has been completed, you are good to go to log in and start playing.

We have included a shortcut to both the launcher, which can be moved from the client folder and placed anywhere, for your convenience.
