The Name filter is coded to reject Christopher as a name. The GM character rename command bypasses the name filter. I have discussed this with Talisa and was given permission to put in this ticket.
I was talking with Talisa about the fact that I would like to name a character after the Russel Thorndyke series character Christopher Syn. The book in that series that most are familiar with is the Scarecrow of Romney Marsh where he is acting as the town Vicar and head of the smuggling operation.
So it is to rename Kris Syn to Christopher Syn
